If you ask any coach how much they enjoy fundraising you’re probably not to going to get a positive response.

Whether it be running a concession stand at home games, car washes, selling products people don’t want to buy, those dreaded pancake breakfasts… you’ll only be able to raise a few hundred dollars.

What if it was possible for you to run a crowdfunding campaign that was relatively hands off and could help your team raise $5,000 – $10,000 this upcoming season?

That’s why we created SportRaisers – to give high school teams an opportunity to surpass their fundraising initiatives and more importantly, give high school coaches peace of mind.

How does it work?

SportRaisers are based off of a proven crowdfunding model that takes place almost entirely online. After creating your donation page you will add your players as participants in your SportRaiser. We’ll send them an email with a unique share link they can post on social media.

We’ll also include a link to their SportRaiser invitation page. When they visit this page they have the ability to add the email addresses of friends and family. We’ll send them a customized email that you write sharing your fundraiser goals and mission. This helps remove the awkwardness your players might feel while asking their friends and family to participate in their fundraiser.

We have automatic tracking built in so you can view how much each individual player has raised, how many invites they have sent out and how many page views their link has received.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to get setup?

It’ll take you about ten minutes to configure your SportRaiser. Our staff will need to approve your page before you’re allowed to add your participants and go live.

How long does the approval process typically take?

You’ll be approved within 24 hours (typically we can do this within the hour, but we don’t want to make any promises we can’t keep!) to get your account approved. We’ll hop on a quick phone call to discuss your club’s fundraising goals and once we’re able to verify your legitimacy we’ll give you the green light!

Are there any setup fees?

Nope – we don’t charge penny to help you get everything setup.

Are there any fees to accept offline donations?

Nope – no fees at all. If somebody cuts you a check you can deposit that straight into your team’s bank account.

Are there any fees associated with SportRaisers?

Yep – but we love the fact that we can offer you the lowest fees in the industry thanks to our integration with Stripe.

As the leader in online payment processing, Stripe charges a base 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. We have a platform fee of $1 per donation that you receive online.

Who handles your credit card payment processing?

We use Stripe to process all donations that come in through our website. Stripe is a leader in online payment processing and we can rest assured knowing that all payments are processed with full PCI-compliance and all security measures in place.

How does our team get access to our donations?

After your SportRaiser concludes we’ll cut your team a check and send it to your athletic department or school district’s business office.

We mail these checks out 30 days after your SportRaiser ends to be sure there aren’t any chargeback fees.

If your school has an account with Stripe, we can connect it to your SportRaiser allowing us to deposit the donations into your bank account immediately!
